Amman: Middle East University has entered into a collaborative agreement with Al-Rasheed Hospital with the objective of equipping students enrolled in the Faculty of Pharmacy with the requisite knowledge and expertise to become proficient healthcare professionals, grounded in the advanced learning attained at the university.
This agreement is part of a wider programme of collaboration with other academic and health institutions, reflecting the university’s commitment to playing a leading role in both communities, as this agreement represents a key component of the university’s strategy to integrate academic education and clinical experience. It mainly offers students the chance to gain direct, practical experience in a genuine medical setting.
In this regard, the Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy, Prof. Amjad Abu Armileh, in the presence of faculty members, stated that this collaboration is part of the university’s commitment to provide its students with optimal training opportunities, equipping them with the skills and knowledge necessary to meet the demands of the evolving labour market in the healthcare sector.
In his remarks, the General Manager of Al-Rasheed Hospital, Mr. Refaat Al-Masri, expressed his satisfaction with the partnership, noting that the hospital is proud to contribute to the development of clinical skills for pharmacy students. He further stated that the hospital’s objective is to make qualitative contributions to the health sector through this collaboration.
