The President of the Middle East University, Prof. Dr. Salam Al-Mahadeen, held a meeting with faculty deans and directors of departments and centres, in the presence of the Vice President of the Board of Governors, Dr. Ahmed Nasser Al-Din, to evaluate the university’s strategic plan and come up with effective recommendations that will direct capabilities towards performance indicators that will achieve the university’s vision of being serious, committed, and determined to learn.
Dr. Naser Al-Din emphasised the university’s commitment to establishing a strong academic and knowledge-based reputation. The strategic plan reflects the university’s awareness of the need to anticipate and adapt to changes proactively, ensuring that it remains relevant and responsive to the evolving educational needs and preferences of students, employers, and society as a whole.
Dr. Al Mahadeen stated that the significance of this meeting is in identifying the priorities of the strategic planning process and setting disciplined, measurable, and achievable goals. Performance analysis can provide valuable perspective for interpreting performance data and identifying best practices.
