Amman: An awareness event organised by the Counselling and Psychological Services Office at the Deanship of Student Affairs at the Middle East University provided a unique opportunity for direct interaction with specialists on mental health issues.
The event encompassed a number of topics, including stress management, coping strategies, the recognition of symptoms, and the significance of self-care.
The sessions provided an opportunity in which participants could pose questions, share experiences, and gain insights into the concepts of mental health management.
In this context, Ms. Aseel Zureiqat, the psychological counselor at the Deanship of Student Affairs, stated that the university’s ongoing mental health awareness efforts are designed to facilitate long-term changes in the attitudes and behaviors of those who are hesitant to share their experiences with others. The university recognizes that it is more than an educational institution and has come to understand the importance of cultivating capabilities and investing in minds.
