The Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Middle East University, Dr. Yacoub Nasereddin, sponsored the honouring event of Dr. Hanan Al-Sheikh from the Faculty of Media, in recognition of her academic career, which contributed to enhancing the status of the faculty and enriching the academic and research field of the university.
The event was attended by the Vice President of the Board of Directors, Dr. Ahmad Nasereddin, and the President of the University, Prof. Salam Al-Mahadin, in addition to deans of faculties and members of the academic staff at the faculty.
Dr. Yaqoub Nasereddin affirmed that this honour is a remarkable recognition of the qualitative contributions that have had a profound impact in consolidating the academic and intellectual legacy left by Dr. Al-Sheikh and will remain a witness to her long career of giving.
Speaking on the occasion, Prof. Salam Al-Mahadin, President of the University, praised Dr. Al-Sheikh’s dedication to her work and her keenness to establish an academic environment based on developing the educational process and enhancing the research movement within the faculty.
Commenting on the occasion, Dr. Ramez Abu Hasira, Dean of the Faculty of Media, expressed his deep gratitude to Dr. Al-Sheikh, noting that she has been and will continue to be one of the main pillars that have contributed to enhancing the status of the faculty.
This honour stems from the Middle East University’s well-established approach to celebrating distinguished competencies and appreciating the minds that contribute to building a solid academic foundation.
