Amman: Dr. Salim Sharif, a faculty member at Middle East University, participated in an awareness seminar entitled “Community Security Between Reality and Challenges,” organised by Amman Ahlia University in cooperation with the Friends of National Security Foundation and Sons of the Kingdom.
During his speech, Dr. Sharif reviewed the educational dimension in protecting community security, adding that raising a conscious generation capable of assuming responsibility is one of the main pillars of enhancing community security.
Notably, he acknowledged the pivotal role of Jordanian security services in successfully addressing the nation’s security challenges. This is largely attributed to the security services’ professionalism, high readiness, and the awareness of citizens.
The seminar reached its conclusion with an open dialogue session. During this session, the lecturers addressed queries and inquiries posed by the audience. Additionally, participants were honoured with certificates in recognition of their contributions to enhancing security awareness.
