
Amman: Middle East University, in cooperation with the Dr. Maysoon Al-Asfar Foundation for Education and Vocational Training, has initiated a training program entitled “Diploma in Teaching the British Curriculum.
The objective of this programme is to enhance the skills of teachers and provide them with the specialised knowledge necessary to teach the British curriculum.
Beyond the curriculum, the program is designed to equip educators with the necessary skills to utilise educational technology to enhance their effectiveness.
The curriculum is structured to provide participants with a comprehensive understanding of the concepts and methodologies associated with teaching the British curriculum at various levels of education, ranging from Grade 1 to Grade 12, aligning with the latest advancements in the educational process.
The launch of the programme was marked by the presence of notable figures, including Prof. Anis Al Mansour, Director of the Legal Department, Director of the Consultancy, Training, and Languages Centre at Middle East University; Dr. Maysoon Al-Asfar, representing the Foundation; and a number of esteemed specialists.
During the opening remarks, Prof. Al-Mansour underscored the significance of this program, emphasising its role in addressing the growing demands for enhancing the competencies of educators. He lauded the commendable endeavours of the Dr. Maysoon Al-Asfar Foundation in propelling the educational advancement.
In her remarks, Dr. Maysoon Al-Asfar articulated her sense of accomplishment in collaborating with Middle East University to initiate this programme, underscoring its significance as a landmark advancement in the realm of professional and educational training.
