Amman: The Volunteer Club of the Deanship of Student Affairs at Middle East University has launched the “Together We See” initiative in collaboration with Al-Shoala Club for the Blind.
The initiative aims to strengthen partnerships with the local community by organizing regular student visits to the club, involving students enrolled in the Social Responsibility course. These visits will continue over a period of three consecutive months.
As part of the initiative, students conducted an educational workshop designed to raise awareness among blind individuals about using blood pressure and blood sugar measurement tools. The workshop also emphasized the importance of adopting a balanced and healthy diet, highlighting its critical role in maintaining stable blood pressure and sugar levels, thereby enhancing overall health and quality of life.
This initiative serves as a model for fostering social responsibility values. It seeks to empower various community groups through education and effective communication, contributing to sustainable development that improves the quality of life for all.
