
The Department of Educational Technology at the Faculty of Arts and Educational Sciences at Middle East University has entered into a collaboration agreement with the United Educational Production Company.
The agreement calls for providing an integrated training programme based on the latest technologies in the fields of digital education, where each student shall undergo an intensive field training of 256 hours during the semester, in direct coordination with the university’s field training supervisors.
On behalf of the university, the agreement was signed by the Dean of the Faculty of Arts and Educational Sciences, Dr. Ayat Al-Maghrabi, and the United Educational Production Company, its Executive Director, Dr. Fahmi Al-Balawneh.
This program covers multiple scopes, such as learning management systems, managing experiences using virtual reality (VR) technologies, designing and managing virtual classrooms, managing electronic tests, creating digital schools and classrooms, developing teacher accounts, analysing student results electronically, and managing digital educational platforms.
As a matter of fact, this agreement will grant trainees the opportunity to be hired by the company according to their needs and requirements, thus enhancing their chances of entering the labour market after graduation.
