
Amman: The Deanship of Student Affairs at Middle East University organised a guided visit to the Community Peace Centre of the Public Security Directorate at the Royal Police Academy, where students were briefed on the objectives and mission of the centre, which is to promote community peace and to combat extremism and violence.
The visit included a video presentation on the centre’s role in spreading awareness about moderate Islam, in addition to awareness clips about the effects of extremist ideology and a tour of an exhibition documenting the centre’s achievements.
The visit concluded with the presentation of a commemorative gift from the centre to Middle East University as an expression of the fruitful cooperation between the two parties, linked to the launch of awareness-raising tracks through workshops, dialogue sessions, educational exhibitions, and theatrical works.
