
The Faculty of Engineering and Design at Middle East University, in cooperation with the Architects and Interior Designers Network (ArchiNet), organised a specialised workshop entitled “Design Meeting in Partnership with ArchiNet.” The workshop comes as part of its endeavour to enhance the academic interaction with the requirements of the contemporary architectural market and to establish a learning environment that relies on innovation and integration.

The workshop was held under the patronage of the President of the University, Prof. Salam Al-Mahadin, in the presence of the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering and Design, Dr. Ayman Awad, and ArchiNet’s representative, Ms. Maali Melhem, in addition to a group of prominent academics and experts in the field of interior design.
The workshop highlighted the fundamental challenges facing the interior design sector in the local environment in light of the rapid changes in design standards and the intensifying competition in a market that increasingly relies on creative solutions and the integration of aesthetics and functionality.
During the workshop, a specialised exhibition of works by the students of interior design was organised at the Dr. Yacoub Nasereddine Auditorium, where students showcased their projects that represent a clear embodiment of their creative skills and their understanding of modern design concepts.
