Amman: Middle East University participated in the Universities Sports Federation Championship, which was held at Al-Zaytoona University with the participation of 21 universities from across the Kingdom.
The university’s karate team competed in the “Individual Fighting” and “Individual Kata” categories, where the team’s student members performed commendably.
In the “Individual Fighting” category for students, Ayham Hammad secured third place in the 84+ kg weight category after overcoming the team from Al Al-Bayt University. Moath Al-Maghraby competed in the 55 kg category, and Aseed Khalaf participated in the 84 kg category.
In the female category, Sadeen Al-Maghraby competed in the 68 kg category, while Zain Bilal Al-Muradawa participated in the individual kata competitions.
