Amman: Middle East University has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Institute of Law and Society (ILS) to build the human rights capacity of students and equip them with the necessary skills to become legal practitioners and human rights advocates in the digital era.
The agreement was signed by the university’s Vice President and Dean of the Faculty of Law, Dr. Ahmed Allouzi, and the Institute’s General Manager, Lawyer Moath Al-Momani.
Dr. Allouzi stated that this agreement enables students to pursue a path towards becoming legal professionals. It is crucial to comprehend the significant role of human rights, digital safety, and legal skills in shaping a fair and equitable society.
Lawyer Al-Momani explained that mastering legal technology tools has become indispensable. The agreement was signed in partnership with an academic institution that recognises the importance of qualitatively changing the concept of legal practice through the implementation of several ambitious joint projects.
