Amman: Five students from the Faculty of Business at the Middle East University (MEU) were awarded the Certified Management Accountant (CMA) scholarship during an award ceremony held at the University of Jordan. The scholarship was offered by the Institute of Management Accountants (IMA) in cooperation with Sarh Global Consulting and Training Centre. The students received the scholarship as a result of their academic excellence.
The awarding of this scholarship signifies the students’ advanced level of knowledge and application, particularly in the fields of management accounting and strategic finance, as stated by Dr. Ahmed Marei, Head of the Department of Finance and Accounting Sciences at the university.
In the presence of the faculty member, Dr. Jamila Mustafa, he added that this certificate is proof to employers and professionals that the students will deliver a qualitative leap in performance standards and development priorities to achieve job satisfaction, which in turn will shape a future full of extraordinary and well-deserved opportunities.
