Amman: A delegation from the Omani Ministry of Higher Education, Scientific Research, and Innovation visited the Middle East University with the objective of exchanging views on the next phase of development and gaining insight into the nature of the academic experience on offer.

The Director of the Department of Recognition and Equivalence of Qualifications, Mr. Al-Nasser Al-Quraishi, was in attendance alongside the Head of the Department of Recognition of Higher Education Institutions, Mr. Abdullah Bin Salem Al-Badi, and the Cultural Attaché of the Sultanate of Oman. Mr. Salem Bin Sulaiman Al-Wahaibi, Dr. Abdullah Obeidat from the Omani Embassy, and other specialists expressed their admiration for the academic and research reputation of the university, noting that it would not have reached this position without its hard work and innovative approach to driving the learning process. In response, Prof. Al-Mahadin stated that the university is open to all options that would facilitate the learning process in a direction aligned with the desired change. She further noted that the university has made significant progress towards international accreditation, which the university views as more than just certificates on the walls. Rather, it is viewed as proof that the university is on the right path.
Prof. Allouzi, in his presentation, provided an overview of the university’s academic programs, faculties, accreditations, and partnerships with various local and international academic institutions. He highlighted the university’s partnership with the Universities of Bedfordshire and Strathclyde in the UK, which he described as a valuable collaboration.
