Amman: A series of practical workshops enabled students at the Middle East University’s Faculty of Media to produce high-quality journalistic content related to environmental challenges and waste management.
The Media Training Centre of the faculty collaborated with the Dibbin Environmental Development Association to organise the workshops.
The Director of the Centre, Dr. Saddam Al-Mashaqbeh, stated that the workshops provide guidance for adopting a comprehensive and effective environmental approach that improves the environmental system and enhances its safety. He further stressed the importance of making students aware of a number of national issues in this regard, in recognition of the significance of the environmental system and its infinite riches.
At the end of the workshops, the students created journalistic content highlighting issues such as sorting medical waste, reducing plastic consumption, and reusing furniture.
