Short bio: Mrs. ConstantinaIoannou received her BSc in Biological Sciences and MSc in Biomedical Sciences from University of Cyprus. She won the first prize for the best undergraduate thesis in 2013, and the second prize for the best Master thesis in 2016 from the Cyprus Research Promotion Foundation. She was also awarded a scholarship from Cyprus State Scholarships Foundation for Master’s studies. Constantina is currently a member of the FOSS Research Centre for Sustainable Energy of University of Cyprus. She is working on the management several European funded programs (Horizon 2020, Interreg MED, Interreg Balkan-MED, Erasmus +) where she is responsible to align the projects to meet the goals, milestones and deliverables as well as to monitor projects’ costs and expenses. She is also interested in the field of energy policy, barriers and opportunities on nearly-zero energy buildings, photovoltaics and storage system integration.
