First Training sessions

University of Cyprus 4 February – 1 March 2019

As part of the AT-SGIRES Project activities, University of Cyprus (UCY) have successfully delivered the planned 2 sessions of 2 weeks of the training programme which is under WP5.

22 faculty member and 28 students from Syria, Jordan and Morocco Universities have participated in two sessions of two weeks training programme.

In week 1, courses organized by Professor George Georghiou and Dr. George Constandinou, and supervised by Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at UCY were given to introduce intensively the Smart Grids and integration of Renewable Energy Resources.

In week 2, participants were enrolled into a PV Technology training program that is delivered using the advanced infrastructures related to the PV technology at UCY.
