The President of Middle East University, Prof. Salam Al-Mahadin, opened the “Images of Al-Karama” exhibition in the presence of the Dean of Student Affairs, Dr. Hazem Al-Nsour, along with a group of academic and administrative staff members and a group of students.
The exhibition, which was organised in cooperation with the Military Information Directorate, was a real witness to the great sacrifices made by our Arab army in the Al-Karama Battle, as the displayed photos embodied the features of glory and pride and evoked honourable stations of legendary steadfastness and heroic confrontation in the face of aggression.
In this regard, Prof. Al-Mahadeen stated that celebrating this immortal national battle is not limited to merely recalling its events and details but goes beyond that to deepen national awareness and consolidate solid values in the consciousness of future generations by strengthening the spirit of belonging and loyalty to the homeland and its Hashemite leadership.
Dr. Al-Nsour noted that the Al-Karama Battle constituted a strategic shift in the conflict equation, breaking the myth of the invincible army and redefining the standards of national will and determination.
This event, which comes within the scope of deep interaction with the national memory, reflects the university’s belief in its pivotal role in instilling national values and strengthening the historical identity of its students.
