Amman: A scientific meeting of the Faculty of Business at Middle East University, attended by the Chairman of the University’s Board of Trustees, Senator Dr. Yaqoub Nasereddin, the President of the University, Prof. Salam Al-Mahadin, the Board of Directors, and the Dean of the Faculty, Prof. Hisham Abu Saima, marked the launch of an ambitious plan that comes to shape the future of the faculty, particularly in light of the changes that the business sector is witnessing globally.
The meeting, which was attended by members of the faculty, had the purpose of assessing the strategic organisation of the college, enabling proactive adaptation, and re-defining the faculty’s strategic vision. It also identified emerging trends and integrated innovative methods into the educational framework.
The meeting placed particular emphasis on the role of technological advances in reshaping the educational landscape. This included an examination of the potential of online learning platforms, the integration of data analytics into teaching methodologies, and the exploration of virtual and enhanced reality for the creation of immersive learning experiences that are designed to enhance learning outcomes and operational efficiency.
Furthermore, the meeting demonstrated that the adoption of these technologies not only enhances the quality of education but also expands access to it, thereby making the faculty more inclusive and adaptable to the needs of a diverse group of students.
