
The Faculty of Nursing at Middle East University organised a comprehensive introductory meeting for its new students in the presence of the Dean of the faculty, Dr. Samira Al-Habashneh, and members of the academic and administrative staff.
At the beginning of the meeting, Dr. Al-Habashneh expressed her pride in joining the new students, stressing the commitment of the Faculty of Nursing to provide a serious and comprehensive learning environment that integrates theoretical knowledge with advanced clinical applications, thus enhancing students’ readiness to face contemporary health challenges.
She pointed out that the nursing programme at Middle East University is not limited to academic training only but is concerned with developing clinical and technical skills through intensive training programmes implemented in partnership with leading health institutions to ensure that students have the necessary practical experience to practise the profession with high efficiency.
The meeting reviewed the most prominent features of the academic programme, highlighting the main components on which the specialisation is based in terms of scientific courses, clinical training, and modern curricula that keep pace with global developments in nursing and healthcare sciences.
At the conclusion of the meeting, an interactive orientation session was held, during which the faculty members provided a set of guidelines and recommendations that would enable students to make the most of their university experience.
