The Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Middle East University, Senator Dr. Yacoub Naser Al-Din, met with the British Deputy Ambassador, Hazel Mowbray, and the President of the British Council, Alex Lambert, to discuss the objectives of the next phase of cooperation between the two entities, in the presence of the President of the university, Prof. Salam Al-Mahadeen, and the Dean of the Faculty of Business, Prof. Hisham Abu Sayma, the member of the Board of Directors, Dr. Mohammed Nasseruddin, and the Assistant Vice President for Promotion and Communication, Ms. May Abu Hamdeh.
Dr. Naser Al-Din stated that the university views such partnerships as a crucial means of shaping an exceptional educational future. This is especially important in a time when many educational institutions are failing to fulfil their mission of generating knowledge and defending the aspirations of nations.
Mowbray stated that partnering with Middle East University is a crucial step towards achieving change. Lambert further stated that the university’s commitment and seriousness towards establishing an emerging knowledge environment are evident.
