Amman: The “Leaders in Media and Spokespersons” course held at Middle East University provided an opportunity for participants to engage with the most recent technological developments and exemplary practices in digital journalism.
This is in response to the distinctive educational opportunities afforded by the Faculty of Media at Middle East University, which incorporates interactive learning techniques, practical simulations, newsrooms, and cinematic effects within its new building.
In this regard, the Vice President of the University, Prof. Ahmad Al-Louzi, in the presence of the Head of the Digital Media Department and the Radio and Television Department, Dr. Mahmoud Al-Rajabi, and the Director of the Media Training Centre, Dr. Saddam Al-Mashaqbeh, held discussions with both Dr. Al-Rajabi and Dr. Al-Mashaqbeh, stating that the University is fully cognizant of the concept of meaningful bilateral relations that serve as a foundation for a sustainable and valuable course of action, particularly in the context of national institutions. The university commends the relations it has fostered with public and private sector institutions.
The participants placed particular emphasis on the pivotal role played by the Faculty of Media in shaping the modern journalism scene. They further highlighted the institution’s ability to adapt its knowledge curricula to reflect the evolving realities of digital journalism, multimedia, data journalism, and journalism ethics. Additionally, they underscored the Faculty of Media’s reputation as a model example of a promising, serious, and vibrant academic institution, drawing attention to the invaluable experience it offers its students.
