Amman: Mr. Yahya Abu Abboud, the President of the Jordanian Bar Association, inspected the written bar examination procedures. As a matter of fact, Middle East University has been hosting the examination for several years, and about 1500 male and female lawyers have taken it.
In this context, Mr. Abu Abboud stated during his meeting with the Vice President of the University, Prof. Ahmad Al-Louzi, and the Dean of the Faculty of Law, Dr. Najm Al-Rabadi, that the university’s unwavering commitment to hosting this examination year after year demonstrates its pivotal role in influencing the legal landscape in Jordan and fostering the next generation of legal professionals.
In response, Prof. Al-Louzi outlined that conducting the bar examination on campus can also foster an inspiring environment for students, particularly those pursuing legal studies. The experience of being in the midst of an event that carries such weight for their professional future can instill a sense of purpose and motivation, particularly when observing their peers taking such crucial steps in their legal careers.
According to Dr. Al-Rabadi, this examination will not be the last, as the university believes in the importance of formulating an exceptional cooperation that frames noble and serious endeavors in translating the visions of His Majesty King Abdullah II related to cooperation between the public and private sectors.
It is noteworthy that the Faculty of Law at the University has been awarded FIBAA international accreditation. This represents official recognition of the faculty’s achievement of the highest European and international standards of excellence and quality for the academic programmes offered. At a time when the university is the only institution to hold this accreditation, it is a significant achievement.
