
Basil Dawood, a member of the Middle East University’s chess team, won first place in the chess championship held at Ajloun National University, in which 12 public and private universities took part.
Notably, the student Basil Dawood attained the distinction of being named the tournament’s best player, a noteworthy accomplishment that underscores his exceptional skill in the sport.
Following the conclusion of the tournament, the President of Ajloun National University, Prof. Firas Ahmad Al-Hanandeh, formally recognised the students who secured the top three positions.
