
The Yemeni ambassador to the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, Dr. Jalal Ibrahim Faqira, visited Middle East University, where he was welcomed by the vice president of the university, Prof. Ahmad Al-Louzi. The purpose of the visit was to strengthen the frameworks of academic and research cooperation between the two parties, with a view to achieving common developmental goals that serve the educational interests of the two countries.
During the meeting, Prof. Al-Louzi, in the presence of the Dean of the Faculty of Business, Prof. Abdulaziz Al-Sharbati, presented the university’s vision to promote academic innovation and build strategic partnerships with regional and international educational institutions.
In response, the Yemeni ambassador, Dr. Faqira, expressed his gratitude for the role of Middle East University in advancing higher education in the region. He noted that this visit signifies a significant step towards establishing strategic relations with Yemeni universities, contributing to the development of human capital and enhancing the exchange of academic expertise.
Following the conclusion of the meeting, the two parties agreed to develop a joint framework that includes the launch of advanced educational and research initiatives, including training programmes and academic exchanges between students and faculty members, with a focus on addressing the urgent needs in the higher education sector and enhancing their competitive capabilities at the regional and international levels.
