Warehouses Department
The Warehouses Department at Middle East University organises and manages stock equipment by making sure an appropriate amount of stock and the type of equipment needed by the University’s academic and administrative units is always available. We are responsible for coordinating stocking processes with a high level of competency and effectiveness, and distributing all requested materials in accordance with the University’s policy. The Department also keeps a record of the University’s stored materials and equipment, and ensures the availability of the minimum required stock for each category of equipment. We supervise all equipment stocking processes carried out at the University. The Department registers the stock items it receives, examines the condition it was received in, and maintains the condition of goods until they are delivered upon the request for their use.
We outlined the Warehouses Department’s Strategic Plan for (2019-2024) in response to the directions of the Chairman of MEU’s Board of Trustees and the University President, and in commitment to MEU’s strategic priorities, future envisions, and general policy. This five-year plan was set after our evaluation of the (2014-2019) plan, thus we believe it will make way for enhanced performance and results.
The newly-outlined strategic plan is based on five focal points:
First Focal Point: Strategic Plan Methodology
Second Focal Point: Strategic Plan Benchmarks
Third Focal Point: Faculty of Engineering’s Strategic Priorities
Fourth Focal Point: Strategic Plan’s General Model
Fifth Focal Point: Strategic Plan Stages and Steps
We hereby vow to the Chairman of MEU’s Board of Trustees, the University President, and all university councils to implement our strategy in a highly-professional manner, sparing no effort to advance our university’s academic reputation on local and international scales.
