AMMAN – Middle East University and the Vocational Training Corporation agreed to establish cooperative relations through VTC’s Pharmaceutical Center of Excellence. The agreement entails the two parties’ cooperation in research and training fields, and launching vocational diploma programmes.
VTC’s General Manager, Eng. Ziad Obeidat, met with MEU’s delegation led by the Dean of Pharmacy, Prof. Ammar al-Maaytah. During the meeting, Eng. Obeidat said that the cooperation of public and private sectors enables our youth and advances their capabilities to meet labour market requirements.
The visiting delegation were given a tour of PCOE. The Center awards vocational diplomas in pharmaceutical science, and aims to train and qualify human resources to work in the field of pharmaceutical manufacturing. It also looks to find job opportunities for Jordanian competencies and market their capabilities in local and international pharmaceutical sectors.
The MEU delegation expressed its delight with the visit and stated its appreciation of PCOE’s national impact and its willingness to cooperate in all fields.
